My requirements for hair styling product: Easy to apply, easy to wash off. 90 DEGREES X-STRONG WAX fulfills both of them. I haven’t found another hair wax that can match the quality and ease of use yet, so until then, I’ll just keep on using it!
lumina –
Hard dry wax that when paired with I hair sea salt spray provides good volume and hold.
Recommend to rub/heat up so as to emulsify the wax, very good and pliable hold with just a small application.

This is my 2nd review for this product. This bad ass has been my arsenal for my daily styling routine. Been using it for about a year+ and it’s still good. I’ve tried using pomade in between to achieve the sleek comb back look, but it just doesn’t suit my hair. As I have typical thin straight Asian hair that lacks volume, this wax gives me the control and strength to help me achieve the natural comb back look that I want. Usually I would hair dry my hair with a comb to the direction of the hair will be styled. Apply 90 degree x-strong wax. And finish it off with gatsby hair spray. It could last the whole day.
CH –
Really loving this wax. This wax gives a very light feel on the hair and is easy to spread and apply on hair as compared to vantachi and ebl clay. Not the strongest hold, but very decent and holds well enough. Use powerpoint with this and it will definitely hold your hair the whole day
Leonard –
Have been using this wax for a about a year, and it is by far the BEST that i have found.
Ive tried anything from gatsby (which is nasty when it comes to washing off), l’oreal, salon products, and even By Villian (gold digger and clay) all of which either was not strong enough, or was too hard to wash off.
This wax (90 DEGREES X-STRONG) offers a strong hold yet is easy to wash off. Perfect for people who uses wax everyday. What’s more, it is organic.
Have also recommended this to a few friends and they love it!

Previously I was using Gatsby Moving Rubber (Grey) for a very long time. It was suitable for me, but the only issue was the after shampoo part. You are unable to wash it off completely after 1 shampoo. This irritates me, I want to try to protect my hair as much as possible as you guys would agree our hair on top is very important to us. So I’ve chance upon this product. After reading the reviews I’ve decided to give it a shot. Indeed, it didn’t disappoint me, and I’m ordering my 2nd one now.

Tried the wax for around 1weeks plus before leaving my review. Love the wax alot. It suit me very well, very easy to style with it and very pliable too! Hold is moderate but acceptable for me. Most important is that it is very to wash off. A plus point for me. Thanks JH for the samples also 🙂
Tan –
This product excels in giving your hair a matte finish. It provides a strong hold and it is very pliable, allowing me to restyle and touch up after a long day. Most importantly,it is easy to wash off.The smell of the wax is okay i guess.I would recommend this wax to those with short/medium hairstyles!

This is my second time ordering the 90 Degress X-Strong Wax. Great product, great service (thanks for the free samples!).
I find that other waxes are very difficult to wash off, and can cause my hair to break/fall. This product however is easily washable and does not cause hair fall/ breakage even though the hold is fairly strong. It smells kind of like plasticine though, but thats not much of an issue as you can barely smell it throughout the day. I would have given it 5 stars if it smelt better. Overall a great product nonetheless.
Thanks for bringing in such a great product!

Was restocking my OSS fashion sea salt spray and wanted to try this wax. At first glance it looked and feel like stone hard wax and seem impossible to apply, but upon rubbing it actually ‘liquified’, making it hassle free to apply on your hair.
Strength of wax is comparable to EBL clay and it is pretty good!!

“As mentioned before, I got my hand on a few samples but couldn’t do a review since my hair wasn’t long enough.
Since then, have grown it out, gotten a haircut and have been putting my samples to use. Which is great because i have a better grasp now of what products work with my hair.
Anyways, here a quick review of
– Baxter’s Clay Pomade
– 90s degrees x-strong wax
Been using both for the past week, and even though initially i assumed them to be quite different, they are actually very similar products.
Baxter is labelled as a “pomade” while 90 degs is labelled as an “organic wax”. But its actually just marketing. The products are just good ole fashioned hair clays, plain and simple. So I would expect quite a strong hold and a matte, textured finish for both
They both start off as a bit hard to scoop out. You know how sebastian crude/XTAH clay scoops out and the way it feels in your hand? Both products are similar to that in the sense that they start off as hard clays, but they are slightly softer than Sebastian’s . This actually deviates from my preferred clays, like Hairbond Distorter and Vantachi Clay, where the product comes out really easy and it is easy to emulsify into the hands. Thus, I wasn’t really having high hopes, since sticky clays usually tend to clump into the hair.
Having said that, both products start to show their magic once you have emulsified and spread the products evenly throughout your palms. Application into the hair is quite easy, not vantachi level easy, but you can really feel the texture being slowly worked into the hair.
I like to wear my hair swept back and to the right (aka the side quiff) and both products did not disappoint in styling that.
You know how your hair looks after not showering for a day? Like it has that healthy shine, looks a bit dirty but damn sex at the same time that makes girls want to run their fingers thru your hair?
e.g. http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/a0/66/79/a066792315fa106b077204cd54d33df1.jpg
yeah, both products, combined with blow drying and sea salt spray, allowed me to get my quiff looking like that easy. Styling took 15 mins max.
The only gripe I had was that volume didn’t last that long. Few hours into that day and my quiff started looking flatter. I had to periodically run my fingers through my hair to re-create the volume.
However, that’s fine. I find too strong of a hold to give “helmet hair” and I like a bit of pliabilty to show off my hair character and texture (thats why Gold digger is still the gold standard for me …ok maybe GD can be less heavy, but nothing is perfect)
In conclusion, both products received 2 thumbs up from me. Between the two, I give the edge to 90 degs because its a bit easier to apply and has a slightly stronger hold. However, Baxter’s Clay Pomade has a way better scent (it has dat herbal masculine minty smell). On the other hand, 90 degrees smells like cooking oil, and it is a bit off putting initially, but the smell died down over the day.
Keep in mind though that 90 degs is only $18.90 for a decent sized jar. Baxter is $32 for the same amount.”

“back with another review for bro leejhong. recently got my hair permed but went for a mild perm just to give it texture. Just so happened my previous wax ran out so I opened 90-degrees wax.
First impressions: Super hard to dig out and super turn-off cos it reminded me of sebastian craft clay which was a bitch to use and a bitch to wash off. However, after digging out a bit of the wax, it went a long way. styling was easy with that little amount. It brought out the curls to the extent that I liked and it gave me a very natural look that I always aim for. +1 for leejhong and his products again!”

“Sorry for the late review JH.
My quicksand was finishing so I wanted something that had better hold than that. Was recommended 90 degrees x-strong wax because I wanted a matt look and something that was easy to wash off.
The product came securely + nicely wrapped with a giftbag as well as a sample of Pote Natural Organic Shampoo.
First, about the 90 degrees x-strong wax, it gives off a very faint grass/herbal like smell the moment I unscrewed the cap. It was hard to touch, unlike quicksand which was easier to scrape up. Initially I thought it would require certain strength to evenly spread out the wax in my palms but I was wrong. It was surprisingly pretty easy. The application on the hair is also very effortless. My hair pretty much stayed the same throughout the day as I’m in the office most of the time. The washing off part is easy as well. It doesn’t have the stickiness of most hair wax that I used in the past. So I had an easy time washing off the 90 degrees x-strong wax. Kudos!
As for the Pote Natural Organic Shampoo, it’s nice enough I suppose but I think I’m pretty much sold by Vogne so I think it would be a biased review if I were to really give one. HAHAHA!
Btw, do you actually remember which samples you handed out to your customers? I was pretty much excited when I received the Pote Natural Organic Shampoo cos I could compare it with Vogne. Now that I have tried both, I’m sure Vogne gets my vote.”

“Bought and used some products from the smart ass Google programmer. Lols. Here are my thoughts.
Vogne Shampoo is in her own league as compared to most shampoos in common department stores that uses fancy words to attract your attention. Makes your hair really soft and silky, a result of the good moisturising effect. Great smell and post shower feeling. Also, its very suitable for oily and sensitive scalp like mine as I’ve been using it daily without irritation. Lathers up well too so you won’t have to worry about pumping too much.
90 degrees X-strong Wax. Matte finish look for people who want to have a ‘i have nothing on my hair’ look. Strong hold and extremely washable. Water alone can wash up to 80% of it off. Using any gentle shampoo would suffice since its so soluble. Smell is subjective. To me, if the smell is more pleasant, all the other wax stores can close shop. Use a nice smelling hair spray to overcome it or use your perfume/cologne to mask it, which ever floats your boat.
OS Fashion Sea Salt Spray. Provides great lift to your hair. It can create the illusion of thick and full hair even if you have fine and soft hair that cant resist gravity. Great smell and the orange liquid looks like an appealing soft drink!
Vogne Conditioner is given as a free sample. Thanks btw. Beats my Dove Damage Therapy Intense Repair Conditioner by a mile. Been using Dove conditioner for 2 weeks and my frizzy hair is still there. Just 3 application of Vogne conditoner and its fixed. No kidding. Its coming back since I used it up.
Pote Natural Organic Shampoo Shampoo. Marginally better in terms of moisturising effect than Vogne. Definitely more worth it than any shampoo in commercial stores. Even helped with my frizzy hair slightly. But I still prefer Vogne as its from Japan whereas Pote is manufactured in China. Preference only.
Carbolic Shampoo is good for deep cleansing your scalp. Charcoal removes any lingering hawker center smell if you’ve just dine there. Still acceptable for oily and sensitive scalps. Can’t determine about its effects if used daily since I only got a sample.
Kudos to your entrepreneurial spirit. Maybe one day can win Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Side note, the purple SilkPro Oil Control Shampoo is a real tonic for your dandruff. Makes them multiply like mad. Perhaps its my sensitive scalp. Try it if you want to confirm you can make snowflakes”

“Bought Vogne shampoo and PP spray from leejhong 2 weeks ago, guess I will write short reviews for them.
Before reviewing the products, I have to praise bro leejhong for his service. He changed and arranged his timing to meet me. Really appreciated that.
First is the Vogne shampoo which I think most have known the quality. The most impressive part is how I can use 1 pump to wash the styling powder, Gold Digger and spray from my hair in 1 wash. I use Schwarzkopf taft powder for volume instead of sea salt spray and those who use styling powder will understand how hard it is to wash your hair, I usually need to wash twice. The first shampoo I use that can clean it in 1 wash is Vogne. My hair is also less oily the next day and becomes easier to style in the morning.
Got the Vogne conditioner sample and when used with the shampoo really makes my hair soft and refreshing. When he said the conditioner makes our hair soft he was not kidding, which is why I just ordered 1 bottle.
Next is Power Point spray which is indeed lightweight and most important it is matte. Size is big too making it value for money.
Another sample I got was 90 Degrees wax which is pretty unique. It doesn’t clamp the hair together and very dry yet has a strong hold. Smells a bit funky tho but at least the smell is not strong and when I step out I don’t smell it anymore. May consider it next time after I use it more as it is quite new to me.”

This wax is easy to use. I like how it does not make my hair have the wet look. Easy to wash off as well.

“Bought 90 Degrees X-Strong Wax and OSIS Sea Salt Spray from leejhong bro few week ago
liking it so far, especially the sea salt spray.
Since I have a very flat hair, I had trouble styling my hair and make it last throughout the day. Not anymore with the seasalt spray though. ”

First impression of it during the first try was it’s not that sticky as compared to syoss tu-re wax and washes off much easier too. Holding power is good and it smells a little alike to renati hair wax. Since its a dry wax, may need to apply slightly more for a better hold.
Petergoh82 –
A strong wax that is able to hold your hair for the day. 🙂
Kel –
Its kinda special for a wax, as it is very dry and no shine. Personally, applying on my hair can be a little difficult, but it is easy to style to your desire and it gives a very nice style finishing for me.I would add few drops of water for restyling or if it gets too stiff on the hair during styling. It gives a “nothing is on the hair yet styled look”. Easy to wash off from hands and easy to wash off hair with shampoo. Definitely a good buy for the price!
Oliver –
this product has great value for money!
Philosopher –
This wax is better than it looks. Although it is harder than normal wax, but once applied on the hair, I don’t feel that it is hard like clay, I am able to style it at ease. It doesn’t give a wet look and doesn’t appear to be wax at all after applying. It just look normal for the hair to be styled.
Junhong –
This wax is very easy to use and apply. It also comes with a natural plant fragrance which actually made me fell in love with it. However, some people might not like it, after all taste is very subjective. I used to have problems with washing off my old gatsby moving rubber matte wax but this wax is very “washable”. Thumbs up for this product. 🙂
