Selling points:
- Lightweight prestyler (sugar spray) formulated with natural sugar that provides lift, shine (not oily!) and touchable grippy texture for the hair
- Does not make your hair dry or coarse (unlike sea salt spray) but instead, it allows the hair to feel smooth and in turn, healthier looking hair
- Creates volume for the hair very well, with a higher hold factor than typical prestylers (such as sea salt spray)
- With natural sugar molecules, it works like a natural glue by “glueing” up the various strands of hair and holds them tightly together
- Comes with a very nice fragrance, that makes your hair smell nice
- Wella Sugar Lift Sugar Spray can be used on damp/dry hair. For best results, use it on dry hair
- Suitable for people with medium to long hair length; Also suitable for females with straight or permed hair
Something you should also know:
- This is not a sea salt spray, but in contrary – a sugar spray. Sugar has been used in hair styling products for decades, and Wella has now created a highly innovative product – Wella Sugar Lift Sugar Spray
- Shake well before using. Spray, scrunch, and style the hair accordingly.
- For best results, use in conjunction with Natural Boar Bristle Round Brush to create great texture and volume.
- How long can this last (daily usage): 5 to 6 months
- Scale (to measure the various aspects) is from 1 to 5, where 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest

What TPJ got to say: Recommended for people who likes to use sea salt spray for prestyling, but not a fan of the dryness. 😀
Katelin Teo –
Wanted to give my feedback about Wella Sugar Spray. It’s harder to dry (with hair dryer) after spraying onto the hair but when it does, it gives the hair a nice poof! And when I put on the styling clay, it molds very well and stays in poof!
Overall Verdict: Very satisfied!
